I got this to use when a power cord was unavailable. I always liked Milwaukee 18 volt products and this is no exception. It is powerful and easy to use. The batteries have long life and recharge is quick and easy. Two distractors: While it is variable speed, the switch tends to be either off or on and is difficult to use at a slower speed. The batteries and charger are not interchangeable with the older style batteries. This limits some interoperability with my Milwaukee drills and seems like a complexity Milwaukee could have easily avoided. It would have been value added to stay consistent as they update the quality of their batteries.
Like all Milwaukee products, it is high quality and a good choice for the professional.
